I am of Egyptian origin and was born and raised in Milan.
I graduated from the European Institute of Design and began my professional career as a graphic designer for several fashion houses, working on the development of corporate identity, visual communication, and the definition of creative imagery.
After attending MiMaster, I chose to dedicate myself to illustration. In my work, I favor synthesis and the creation of evocative atmospheres, alternating black and white with color palettes. My images emerge from the combination of traditional techniques, such as oil paints and monotype, with digital tools.
My illustrations have been published in books and newspapers, awarded in annuals, commissioned by companies and private clients, and exhibited at illustration festivals.
Among my clients are Corriere della Sera, Mondadori, Iperborea, Donna Moderna, Coca-Cola, and F, the weekly women’s magazine by Cairo Editore.
