Hi! My name is Sonia Diab.
I am an Italian illustrator based in Milan where I was born and raised.
Once I finished my studies at the IED (European Institute of Design), I worked several years as graphic designer, mainly in the fine art and fashion industry.
After getting a master degree attending “MiMaster Illustrazione” in 2019 I started to work as a freelance illustrator for magazines, publishing houses and creative agencies.
In my work I love the synthesis. I alternate the use of black and white and carefully chosen color palettes. I like to create evocative and magical atmospheres, mixing textures and and patterns. I use both digital and traditional techniques (such as monotype and oil paint).
